We have been entertaining the village since 1978 and, despite a few intervals, continue to put on plays and revues in the Village Hall.
We are always pleased to welcome new members to the group: either to help in numerous ways backstage, or to tread the boards. We aim to put on as professional a production as possible, given our limited means and the stage facilities - but our real intention is to entertain our audience and to enjoy ourselves.
The flagging Village Theatre was revived last year and following a very successful run of "Busybody" by Jack Popplewell in March 2009, we are planning a production for November '09. Meanwhile, there will be a murder mystery evening, "DINNER OF DISASTER", on Saturday 27th June, when the audience will have to turn detective and solve the crime.A buffet supper is included in the price of the ticket (£5). Bring your own bottle.
Later in the summer, we shall be hosting a Quiz Night with a buffet supper - details will be posted soon.
